My sister was married in September and I had the pleasure of being her maid of honour. Considering that this is a stressful time for the bride and groom, it be difficult for them to prepare and think of everything. I put together a small wedding night gift box for them to open after the reception, once they got back to the hotel. The next day my sister told me that it had been a great idea, especially the tylenol! She said she wouldn't have thought to pack some of the items.
When making a wedding night gift, anything goes with what items you can include and also what you put them in. For mine, I chose a box I bought at the local dollar store but you can use a basket or gift bag. For the items I put inside, I chose them based on what my sister likes (she really likes Ritz Crackers) and what I thought I would like if I were in her place. Be creative!
The items I included were:
- Tylenol
- Water
- Snapple
- Energy Drinks (a healthy one)
- Ritz Crackers
- Granola Bars
- Chocolate
- Candy
- Fruit Cups
- Gum
But you can also add:
- Wine and opener
- Champagne
- Lotion
- Lip Balm
- Face cleanser/ makeup remover and lotion
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Mouthwash
- Tums
- Bandaids
- Chips and Salsa
- Popcorn
- Candles and matches
The possibilities are endless! Keep in mind who you're making it for and tailor it to them and your budget.
