I was enjoying the spring weather last month and decided venture out and take some photographs on a local hiking trail. My specific goal was to photograph the flowing water with a slower shutter speed.
The photos were taken with a Sony A350 DSLR camera. The settings were: no flash, f/16, 2 second exposure in the shutter priority mode, 100 ISO, spot metering mode and 70mm focal length.
Has anyone else noticed that the weather is a little odd lately? I'm not sure if Mother Nature wants it to be spring or winter. In one day we've had a combination of sunshine, rain and hail! In the Lower Mainland it's common for us to get lots of rain but I'm ready for some warm sunshine! In between bouts of rain, I managed to get my husband, step-daughter and dog out for a hike.
Climate change seems to be the topic of the day today. Both the World Wildlife Fund and CTV News have some good articles on climate change. They also have a couple of great videos too. I've posted the videos below and the links to their blogs as well.
